Add Exact Line to Shopify POS

Installing the app in Shopify admin does not automatically add its tile or activate its POS extensions. A store administrator must complete these steps.

Activate Exact Line in POS: in Apps, find Exact Line and open its discount extension. Its name or description may be translated. Turn on Activate and Save. Check Cart line item details and App background if listed separately.
Add the Exact Line tile: in Smart grid, select the template used by your location, then Add tile, Embedded Apps, Exact Line's discount extension, and Save.
On your connected POS device at that location, add an item to the cart and open Exact line discount. Choose an item if there are several lines. You can also open a cart item's details and use the Exact line discount action.

Enter the total amount to discount once for the whole line and verify the cart before checkout.

Setup

Open Exact Line from Shopify to complete setup. Your store administrator should confirm the discount setup, activate the POS extensions and check the tile on the device before staff use it. The discount setup status alone does not confirm POS activation.

Troubleshooting

If the editor opens a different page, use Shopify admin, Sales channels, Point of Sale, then the POS editor. If it is unavailable or Exact Line is missing, ask your administrator to check POS channel access and staff permissions.
If the tile is missing, check the smart grid template assigned to your location. Do not reinstall the app or change discounts to repair tile visibility.
If the app is not ready, return to Exact Line in Shopify and ask your store administrator to review setup.
If a required resource is unavailable, wait briefly and try again with a network connection.
If a discount or resource conflict is reported, leave the existing discount unchanged and ask your store administrator to review it.
Exact Line requires a working network connection to verify and maintain its Shopify resources.
